Looking to switch your weekend routine up a bit? I know it's hard to get away from Balena's brunch, but if you've been looking for something a little different for your Sunday brunch, these restaurants have just recently started serving new menus to help you alleviate your hangover.

Appellation: Serving dishes like ricotta fritters with grapefruit curd and smoked whitefish tartine with fennel apple salad and deviled eggs, Appellation's new brunch menu is a good starting point to your day. The cold and hot sandwich menus will also be available for the lunch-hungry with cocktails and, of course, wine. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday 9am-3pm.

bellyQ: Chef Bill Kim's Asian-style brunch is in a shareable, small-plate format, perfect for the group that wants to try a little of everything. Some choices include kimchi pancakes with arugula, bacon and pickled red onion and sausage, egg and cheddar sliders with blueberry compote. For the especially hungry, there's a "greedy belly" menu with dishes like "phozole," a chicken pho with blackened salmon, hominy and kimchi. Brunch is served Sunday from 11am-3pm.

Mercat a la Planxa: Start your morning off with an affordable Spanish three-course prix fixe brunch menu ($27) at Mercat a la Planxa. The menu includes dishes like soft scrambled eggs with poached lobster and torrijas bread pudding with cinnamon and topped with honey. All courses can also be ordered a la carte. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday 10am-3pm.
