Celebrate the spirit of giving December 10 and 11 by saying adiós to your used bags or packs. Custom and designer bag retailer Timbuk2 will host a two-day event that invites accessory aficionados to donate their used bags in exchange for 40 percent off the purchase of any new bag, pack or accessory sold at the Chicago store (1623 N Damen Ave).
The event starts at 11am both days with an all-day party designed to reward customers and encourage participation in the bag drive with snacks and beer. Items collected during the event will be donated to West Town Bikes—a community organization that works to empower youth and build community through interactive bike workshops and programs.
