The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign has been ranked the second-best accounting school in the country, the fourth-best engineering program in the world, and boasts several other academic accolades that make it a wonderful university. But the one, most important area where the school ranks second-to-none is... partying.

According to the Princeton Review's recently-released annual college rankings, the state of Illinois' flagship university earned the number one spot on its list of party schools. The list was compiled based off responses to a survey taken by 136,000 college students across the country.

The number one party school ranking should come as no surprise to anyone familiar with the drinking and partying culture at the university. Students only need to be 19 to gain admittance into bars, where it's extremely easy to obtain alcohol. Everyone would rather drink themselves into oblivion rather than watch the terrible football team, and the unofficial St. Patrick's Day celebration remains one of the biggest parties of the year on college campus. Combine all that and you have a student body that's ready to get rowdy any day of the week.

So parents, if you're reading this, you should seriously consider sending your children to U of I. Not only will they receive a world-class education with the opportunity to earn a great job out of college, but they'll also have fun while doing it. And after all, isn't that what college is really all about?
