The Respiratory Health Association hosted its semi-annual Skyline Plunge on Sunday, an event in which participants rappel down the side of the Loop's theWit Hotel, which is 27 stories, or 278 feet tall. The day of rappelling raised roughly $65,000 for lung disease research and programs.

Two Time Out Chicago editors took the challenge and strapped a GoPro to one of their helmets in the process, resulting in a stunning perspective of the downtown area.

The next "plunge" will take place on May 22, and those who want to participate can sign up at RHA's website. Before you register, check out the video above to see the views you'll be able to take in.
