In case you weren't aware, there's a not-so-secret secret menu at M Burger that includes items like grilled cheese sandwiches, cheese fries and M Burgers made with turkey or chicken, just to name a few. But the Lettuce Entertain You chain recently added a new item to the secret menu, called the Aunt Patty Melt.
The melt costs $6.49 and comes with two beef patties (though, when we ordered it today, the Thompson Center location served it with a single patty), two slices of American cheese, griddled onions and mayo on buttery white bread. And it's pretty damn good. We won't lie—we're pretty big suckers for the burgers at M Burger, and this one isn't changing our minds about the Chicago Double, but every once in a while it's nice to mix things up a bit.
