András Schiff is the rare pianist who prefers Bösendorfers to Steinways. The Hungarian (who is a quite vocal critic of his homeland's leadership) cracks his knuckles and sets into Bach's Partita No.1-6 as a part of the Symphony Center Presents Piano Series hosted by the CSO. In 2007, he won the Royal Academy of Music Bach Prize, so expect interpretations that are a cut above.
