Chicago Symphony Orchestra: Britten War Requiem

Swiss baton wielder Charles Dutoit leads the CSO and Chorus in Britten's War Requiem (which turned 51 this year), a non-liturgical melding of Latin Mass with modern poetry by Wilfred Owens. Soloists include Tatiana Pavlovskaya, John Mark, Ainsley and Matthias Goerne.
