This freak-friendly dance destination in Lakeview built its reputation back in the mid-’80s with a mix of German new-wave music, art installations and even drag shows. These days, it’s still quirky, blending modern electro with retro, with nights devoted to Madonna, Björk, Depeche Mode and Robyn. Goths and gays are extra welcome, but the scene here is made up of almost everyone. Thursday night's Stardust a major locus of creativity in nightlife, especially in its trippier monthly Total Therapy incarnation, the last Thursday of each calendar page.

I walked into this club quite a few years ago completely on accident and instantly was obsessed! The atmosphere and patrons were nothing short of amazing, drink prices were on point and the music was definitely on as well as hosting some of the most talented and passionate dancers I have ever seen! Even security was awesome and gave us a few laughs being that my husband at the time-who is Bi- and I -who identifies as Pansexual and Polyamorous- must have looked a bit starstruck and they thought maybe we had come in by mistake...so they made sure to check in with us and make sure everything was ok, and gently suggest to me that I make certain my husband knew the women he was so enamored with were a little more than the average woman (thinking we didn't know) LOL. Myself and my now husband attend Pride every year and always make sure to run by before we leave!
I have since attended Mixology School in recent years and going through school my ultimate goal was to land a spot behind the bar of my beloved Berlin! After gaining some experience and perfecting my skills I am proud to say I am still on track toward that goal!
Definitely a forever patron here. You'd be smart not to miss out on this one, trust me.
This place is really pretty darn awesome.
It has a lot of lbgt customers, so don't go here with any hate in your heart. That said: it is a very welcoming place to all types of folks, not just of a particular scene. Really really fun place!
One of the vest in the city to dance and be jolly!
