Fred Armisen

Before Fred Armisen joined the cast of Saturday Night Live and poked fun at hipsters on Portlandia, he was the drummer for Chicago punk act Trenchmouth (and an occassional Blue Man Group performer). Taking a break from his current gig as bandleader on Late Night with Seth Myers, Armisen comes to Metro with a new music-themed set of comedy entitled, Comedy For Musicians But Everyone is Welcome. If it's anything like his recent Netflix special, Standup For Drummers, you can expect some rhythmic impressions and observations on the absurdity of playing an instrument for a living.
