Time Out says

January can be a rough month in Chicago, so it's a good thing we've got something to laugh about. In its 18th year, the largest sketch comedy festival in the country will present a packed lineup of more than 100 hilarious performers that will make you forget about those frigid temperatures outside. Headlining acts include Parv and Pudi (featuring Danny Pudi from Community) and the the Fail Yours, featuring Derek Mize and Eric Eikey from edgy New York group FUCT. Guests can purchase tickets for individual shows, day passes or all-festival passes.

I LOVE Sketchfest! As someone that always wants to go to comedy shows but never has time throughout the year, Sketchfest is the perfect way for me to catch up on all the good groups in the city in a 2 week span! Last year, I saw so many shows. One that sticks out was this group called "Produnktion". It was 3 ladies and they were so funny, smart and quick. I'm going to try to catch their show again this year on the 14th. Highly recommend - especially if you like surprise raps! I would also suggest grabbing a full weekend pass. That way, you really get to see a mix of everything. Worth the money! Go!
