Ballet Chicago kicks off its free archival dance program with a showcase of choreography set to the work of Black composers and artists like Billy Strayhorn, Herbie Hancock, Florence Price and Maya Angelou. The two-part show include a collaboration with the Merit School of Music and a series of dances set to the jazzy "Ellington Suite."
