Not a celebration of U2's guitarist. The "edge" here is Edgewater. This year, the 'hood hosts a long weekend of wholesome family entertainment featuring tons of interactive, kid-friendly activities including karaoke night and DockDogs, a traveling aquatics dog competition. Vendors willl serve up the anticipated array of festival foods (corn dogs, funnel cakes, blintzes, donuts), while local artists display handmade goods and crafts.

LOVE Edgefest! I've been a resident of Edgewater proper for two years now and have lived very nearby for prior to that and I've only just made it out to Edgefest. There was a nice selection of food and vendors for the day. It was really great that the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce made it a point to show which businesses were owned with the community. The entertainment was so much fun, especially at night! There was a band that covered Disney and other pop cultural relevant songs on one side of the fest and on the other this killer Dave Matthews cover band that I personally think bribg more energy to the performance than the actual band! I look forages to attending again next year!
