Logan Square Home Movie Day

A neighborhood-centric version of the annual citywide Home Movie Day, the mini fest of amateur gems comprises 16mm, 8mm and Super 8 films shot in and around Logan Square. A sort of people's history of the 'hood on celluloid, the program is being put on by the Post Family, the Chicago Film Archives, the Northwest Chicago Film Society and the Logan Square International Film Series. Those with reels to submit can contact the CFA by sending an e-mail to info@chicagofilmarchives.org or calling 312-243-1808. Additionally, the evening features selections from the CFA's JoAnn Elam Collection, which includes both Logan Square home movies and experimental films.
