While Chicago has a food truck scene that seems to be thriving, it's kind of telling that most people have never purchased food from one of these mobile eateries outside of a festival setting. Chicago Food Truck Festival is the latest in a string of similar gatherings that brings together some of the city's best roaming restaurants.

We have been going for three years and counting. I enjoying trying different food and each year it gets larger. We love the Shrimp Shack. And we don't mind the lines because we wait at every festival in Chicago. There is no where in the City were you will find Asian, African, Mexican, European, American and more cuisine. We will be back!

Nothing like a food fest where the vendors run out of food selections halfway through the day or you wait in line for 45 minutes, then the truck that you're lined up for announces that they won't have any more food ready for at least a half hour. I'm glad the entrance tickets were free and I know that this fest isn't worth coming back for. It's too bad, because I really thought that I was going to have a good time at it.
