THU 11
You’ve never been to Municipal Bar (that’s fine, it’s still new). You’ve never been to a multiple sclerosis fund-raiser (that’s less excusable). But tonight, you’re going to do both, and you’re going to get drunk on Red Bull cocktails doing it. 216 W Ohio St (312-951-2125). 6–9pm; $35.

FRI 12
People in their pajamas + rum punch + no cover for women + DJ X spinning salsa and meringue = the most awkward club night of the year, a.k.a. Nacional 27’s Pajama-Jamm. Best-dressed guest wins a robe. 325 W Huron St (312-664-2727). 11pm–2am; $10 (applies to men only).

SAT 13
What does it take to bring restaurateurs, nonprofit directors and journalists together to talk about food and poverty? Apparently, all it takes is a crew of U. of C. students, who today are throwing Chicago Gastroconference. Ida Noyes Hall (1212 E 59th St, envisiondo.org). 11am–5pm; $20.

SUN 14
Remember when you were really rude to that waitress and talked smack about her on Yelp? Tonight, she shares her side of the story at an all-female lineup of Bitchin’ Purge, a service-industry story slam. Jerry’s Sandwiches, 1938 W Division St. 8pm; $5.

MON 15
Tavern on Rush turns 15
today, dude! Do you know what that means? That means if you can remember when the place opened, you’re way, waaaay too old to hang out here. Drink your denial away with celebratory $15 bottles of wine. 1031 N Rush St (312-664-9600). 11am–2am.

TUE 16
At Three Rum Cocktails to Impress Your Friends, you’ll learn to make three rum cocktails that will, allegedly, impress your friends. This assumes your friends are impressed by daiquiris and rum punch. Weather Mark Tavern, 1503 S Michigan Ave (773-588-0230). 7pm; $25.

WED 17
Today is the last day to vote for the next Check, Please! host. The field has been narrowed down to 17 chefs (Sarah Levy), restaurateurs (Ina Pinkney) and, um, fashion designers (Tommy Walton). The votes don’t count for much, but the videos are priceless.
