Where to go, what to eat.

It’s National Doughnut Day, and if you’re willing to travel to the nearest Krispy Kreme (412 E Devon Ave, Elk Grove Village), you’ll snag one free doughnut of your choice. And if you’re not—well, hopefully there’ll be short lines at Do-Rite Donuts, Glazed and Infused and Doughnut Vault.

SAT 2
Grab your walking shoes and some tofu: The Chicago Veggie Pride Parade is taking over Grant Park. Events “celebrating the lifestyle” include a costume contest, speakers and lots of fiber. Balbo Ave and Columbus Dr. Noon.

SUN 3
Chicago Cut’s lobster boils start now: The weekly seafood feast includes wine and Champagne, and this week (the kickoff party), 100 percent of the proceeds go to Children’s Memorial Hospital. 300 N LaSalle St (312-329-1800). 2–5pm; $50. (10am– 2am; $35 every week hereafter.)

MON 4
