The Café at Ikram
Ikram Goldman is a fashion legend, and her Chicago store is a sleek temple to style. So you’ll forgive us if this is the last place we thought to go in search of a good meal. Oh, do we have a lot to learn! Goldman brought on chef Christopher Sullivan, who puts together bright, inspired salads (such as fregola with pistachios, blood oranges and grilled shallots) and beautiful main courses which, at about $15 a pop, don’t carry the sticker shock of the frocks below. 15 E Huron St (312-587-1000).
