That’s where Adrienne Lo—one of Fat Rice’s chef/owners—does all the production for her nut brittle company, Mama’s Nuts. Lo makes every crunchy, addictive flavor (the mocha stout and Provencale-garlic almonds are the most popular) herself. Is it crazy she does so while running a restaurant that quotes two-hour waits by 6:30pm? Yes. Crazy smart.
