Best gay bars in Chicago: Mary's Attic

Don't expect this upstairs bar to vaunt a granny's attic vibe. Given that it sits above the gay-friendly Hamburger Mary's it's more like a tranny's attic what with the rampant kitsch, rowdy karaoke nights and fringe theater dominating the Attic's tiny stage.

GREAT spot to go on a friday or saturday night with great DJs and no cover mixing 90s to now

A new layout for the bar means even more room for dancing, which is exactly why you should be at Mary's Attic. Come earlier in the evening to catch a show from the likes of Hell in a Handbag over a few drinks.
