It's okay to be gay in the 'burbs. That's according to the folks at OPALGA (Oak Park Area Lesbian and Gay Association), a west suburban nonprofit that sponsors and produces cultural events for queer and allied residents, hosts local potlucks, provides services for queer youth, and advocates for diversity and inclusion in the city and surrounding areas.
