Chicago International Children's Film Festival 2014

Some of the highlights from the more than 270 films included in the 31st iteration of this fest are a stopmotion magic workshop with LAIKA Studios, whose new film The Boxtrolls will also be screened; the return of "Flick or Treat," the festival's Halloween-themed programming; and special screenings of Oscar-nominated children's animation. With seminars and dialogues also included, children will be able to become budding cinephiles while taking in films at Music Box Theatre and Facets Cinematheque.
