Halloween on Catalpa

Andersonville embraces Halloween with a series of events taking place on the Saturday before the holiday, including a Halloween on Catalpa block party (hosted on Catalpa Avenue between Clark Street and Ashland Avenue) featuring free pumpkins, Affy Tapples, a 360-degree photo booth and gluten-free candy bags from defloured: a gluten-free bakery. Looking for even more Halloween fun? At 3pm, the dance company GUS hosts a free Halloween dance show at Helen C. Peirce Field, and kids are invited to go trick-or-treating through the neighborhood's business district from noon to 3pm.
