This film fest dedicated to the black LGBTQ+ experience returns for its ninth year, kicking off with a screening of the documentary Beyond Ed Buck at the University of Chicago’s Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts and continuing with a weekend of more than 30 film screenings, including picks like Black Beauty, I Wish I Never F*cking Met You, Rainbow
Migrants, Manifold, The Funnel, and Jabari Dreams of Freedom. An opening reception hosted by the Chicago comedian Otis Mack will be held at Sip & Savor (78 E 47th St) at 6pm on Friday, November 4.
