"Opening the Vaults: Wonders of the 1893 World's Fair"

The World's Columbian Exposition gave birth to the Field Museum. So it's only fitting that 120 years later, the institution should mount this exhibition featuring objects that were originally on display at the Field's opening-and some that have never been on public view.
