Time Out says

Explore the illusory nature of time via broken clocks at "The Correct Time," a Design Museum of Chicago exhibition showcasing a variety of donated (and defunct) timepieces. Building off of a work by former SAIC grad student Barbara Koenen—who in 1989 gathered a collection of 720 broken clocks, each marking every minute in 12 hours—the exhibit probes the ways in which we measure time via material culture, offering a glimpse at a vast array of clock design displayed in this massive trove of donated items.
