Visitors can see preserved insects dating back to 1910 at this fascinating museum and educational center, which boasts a collection of more than 2,500 taxidermy and insect specimens collected by founder Nina Salem. Come by during regular hours to look around and shop a small store stocked with taxidermy, bones and art, or book a class on topics ranging from butterfly pinning and owl pellet dissection to wild foraging. FYI: The museum also offers sensory-friendly hours on Fridays.
