We typically observe Goose Island Beer Co.'s made-up 312 Day while sipping a beer at a concert, but this year's celebration is taking a slightly different approach. Partnering with DoStuff Media, the local brewery is presenting an evening of streaming performances from pop-rockers Beach Bunny, post-punk outfit Ganser, experimental duo Ohmme and genre-blending saxophonist/singer Sen Morimoto. You'll also hear about the future of live music from a variety of industry professionals, including the folks behind the Empty Bottle and Lincoln Hall.
If you'd rather not watch from home, the Goose Island Clybourn Brewhouse will be screening the 312 Day event and offering a long list of specials. You'll be able to order a spicy black bean burger created in collaboration with local singer-songwriter Jamila Woods and sample some 312 beer variants, including the new Lemonade Shandy and limited creations like cranberry 312 and sour gummy 312.
