Angel Bat Dawid

Clarinetist, poet, vocalist and cosmic explorer Angel Bat Dawid kicks off the Empty Bottle's slate of June residencies with three nights of concerts, performing with a different group of collaborators each evening. Night one is billed as a "Sandbox set," suggesting a loose night of improvisation that could touch on all of Bat Dawid's previous work, including her breakthrough 2019 spiritual jazz LP The Oracle, released by local label International Anthem. On July 2, Bat Dawid is joined by local teacher and gospel vocalist Phillip Armstrong, and on July 3, she'll welcome synthesist Oui Ennui to the stage. Each show is presented at a limited capacity.
