While it's technically located in Kilbourn Park, the Avondale Music Hall is within walking distance of some of the most quickly-changing sections of the Northwest Side neighborhood its named for. A former Polish nightclub, this 350-capacity venue is under the same ownership as the Portage Theater and hosts a similar mixture of hip-hop, electronic and rock acts. An attached cafe serves pizza, nachos and drinks before and after the show, just in case you show up feeling hungry.
