On the heels of collaborations with Solange Knowles, fka twigs, A$AP Rocky and Mariah Carey, English singer-songwriter Devonté Hynes (a.k.a. Blood Orange) has found his calling as a purveyor of hazy, nostalgic R&B. His recent mixtape, Angel's Pulse, flits between genres, moods and collaborators, providing a glimpse at how versatile Hynes's productions skills (not to mention his trusty guitar) can be. At the Vic, Hynes is joined by Colombian-Canadian singer-songwriter Tei Shi, who has a penchant for woozy, ’80s-inspired R&B.
