Chive Fest

The Chive, a portmanteau of Chicago and Venice, is a heavily bro- and frat-centric lifestyle website for Axe-soaked America. (And it has nothing to do with the Onion.) The dudes have now put together quite an impressive one-day festival at the potential future home of the George Lucas Museum, a.k.a. the lot outside Soldier Field. Eight acts hit two stages: Batshit electro-psych-pop act Empire of the Sun headlines; 2 Chainz barks with swagger; Matt & Kim smile and jump; Neon Indian deejays. Holy Ghost, Reverb Brass Band, Kitten and White Arrows fill out the bill. Well played, bros. Well played.
