Courtney Barnett and Kurt Vile

After meeting and hitting it off on an Australian tour, singer-songwriters Courtey Barnett and Kurt Vile decided to record a few songs together, and inadvertently produced an entire album of collaborative tracks. The musical friendship will continue to blossom this fall, when the duo teams up to tour behind its new record and perform tracks from each singer's respective catalog. They'll be backed up by the Sea Lice, which features Sleater-Kinney drummer Janet Weiss and Warpaint drummer Stella Mozgawa. In Chicago, Barnett and Vile will play Rockefeller Chapel, Thalia Hall and Empty Bottle.
