Time Out says

New wave meant many different things in the ‘80s, and this Ravinia concert explores the various strains of the nostalgic genre. Culture Club headlines the evening, fronted by androgynous lead singer Boy George, who parlayed hits like "Karam Chameleon" and "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?" into a solo career before reuniting with the group. Athens, Georgia new wave pioneers the B-52s (who combined surf-rock and dance music) and British synth-pop duo Thompson Twins open the show.
