Downtown Sound: Snarky Puppy + Third Coast Percussion

New York instrumental collective Snarky Puppy dabbles in a variety of genres, but it's latest record, Sylva, is bonafied jazz fusion—perfect for an evening in the grass at Prtizker Pavilion. Third Coast Percussion will open the free Downtown Sound concert, collaborating with a group of Chicago musicians to celebrate the birthday of minimalist composer Terry Riley with a performance of his classic piece, “In C.”
