Swedish sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg make no secret of their deep reverence for American country and folk music, lending crystalline harmonies to songs that put a Scandinavian spin on classic Nashville twang. The pair's latest record, Ruins, features some of the sisters' most cinematic, heart string-tugged songs to-date as well as collaborations with Peter Buck (R.E.M.) and Glenn Kotche (Wilco).
