Gang of Four

It is impossible to deny the power and influence of Gang of Four's stiff post-punk. The angular funk shooting like sparks from Andy Gill's guitar echoes still in everything from the Franz Ferdinand to Viet Cong. Since original vocalist Jon King bailed out of the band in 2011, the Gang has fought on, most recently releasing What Happens Next with new lead singer John "Gaoler" Sterry.
