This annual garage-punk-psych spectacular spotlights Logan Square's Eye Vybe Records, one of those imprints that still issues cassettes. There's a lot of bleed between this inaugural fest and the Hozac Blackout fest. Friday night sees fuzz act Purling Hiss headlining over Beset by Creatures of the Deep, Moss Folk and the Hanging Gardens. The second evening, Saturday, is typically reserved for cult icons, and this year delivers Hoosier gutter rockers the Gizmos, who cut tracks like "Human Garbage Disposal" in the '70s. John Krautner of the Go (a Detroit act that once featured Jack White) rips into his soulful howlers first.
