Time Out says

HoZac, the fine local purveyor of garage rock, throws its annual fete with its usual mix of unearthed punk icons and modern scuzz-pop merchants. The big draw this year is the Avengers (Saturday). No, not the Age of Ultron heroes, rather the San Francisco group fronted by Penelope Houston that shoke the punk world without ever releasing a proper album. Thrilling singles like "Car Crash" and "We Are the One" sit on the spectrum between Joan Jett and Bikini Kill. Also headlining and straight outta the 1970s are the Real Kids (Friday), the cult power-pop act behind the perfect "All Kindsa Girls."
