Jamila Woods + theMIND + Matt Muse

Local poet and singer-songwriter Jamila Woods headlines a holiday benefit concert at Metro, which marks the end of the Love & Nappyness Hair Care Drive organized by local hip-hop artist Matt Muse (who also will perform). Each December, Muse collects sealed and unused natural hair care, skincare and personal hygiene products throughout Chicago and donates them to local youth shelter Ignite and West Side transition home Saint Leonards Ministries. Show up for sets from Woods, soulful singer-songwriter theMIND and Muse—a portion of proceeds will benefit the Love & Nappyness Hair Care Drive.
