Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that events are still happening.

Local nonprofit arts organization HotHouse hosts a four-day festival devoted to Cuban jazz, in collaboration with the Cuban Instituto de la Musica and Ministereo de Cultura. Tune in every night at 7pm to watch free peformances, hosted by the likes of Wall Street Journal critic Larry Blumenfeld and Sirius XM host Mark Ruffin. Featured Cuban artists include flute player Orlando "Maraca" Valle, saxophonist Michael Herrera and pianist Bobby Carcasses. The series will also feature Chicago-based performers like Hamid Drake, Michael Zerang, Ben La Mar Gay, Tomeka Reid and Junius Paul.

Each streaming performance will be available for 24 hours via the HotHouse website.
