Hippies may fill retirement homes at this point, but the Summer of Love vibe lives on at the Kinetic Playground, an Uptown Hacky Sack haven tucked into the same block as Aragon Ballroom and the Riveria. Jam bands and bluegrass dominate the schedule, but the 500-person room has a knack for spotlighting conscious backpack hip hop and trance electro.
