King Khan & The Shrines

Arish Khan is quite the character, and he is gracing us with his prescence at the Empty Bottle. His latest album on Merge, Idle No More, oozes the funky big-band energy only the rock & roll oddball can truly generate. Incorperating both the sincere and the satirical, Khan's work with the Shrines shows that he is both the king and court jester of the garage-rock scene.
