Time Out says

This summer, Liz Phair celebrated the 25th anniversary of her debut album, Exile in Guyville, which she recorded as a twenty-something navigating Chicago's burgeoning alt-rock scene in Wicker Park (the album's cover photo was shot in the Rainbo Club photo booth). After revisiting the raw anthems of her youth during a special Empty Bottle performances and a cathartic Riot Fest set, Phair returns to Chicago for a pair of shows at Metro, where she first performed in 1994. Wrigleyville is a bit of a jaunt from the neighborhood that inspired her record, but with the Double Door out of comission, it's probably one of the only venues in town where you might be able to feel transported back to the early ‘90s.
