Mozart’s rarely performed eighth opera has its Chicago premiere this season. Francesco Milioto conducts and Andreas Mitisek directs the passionate story of love and revenge in Rome (it is an opera after all) written by the prodigy at the age of 16. Take advantage of this rare performance featuring the Chicago Philharmonic and Apollo Chorus. Young people are invited to a special performance September 23.
