Time Out says

HotHouse, the former South Loop jazz club in the space taken over by Buddy Guy's, returns with a mini-festival a bit further south in Hyde Park. Like the erstwhile venue, the concerts spotlight global jazz, soul and rhythms. Friday night sees Lakha Khan, Hamid Drake & David Murray Trio fusing Hindustani tradition with bop. On Saturday, avant-garde sax man Ari Brown leads his Quintet, while Amansu Eason melds African and hip-hop dance. To close out the fest, a Sunday matinee offers international jazz act Oliver's Cinema, a trio of trumpet, accordion and cello, and the improvisational jammers Open Loose.
