Quin Kirchner

Local drummer and jazz scene mainstay Quin Kirchner released his sophomore LP The Shadows and the Light last June, during a time when performing in support of the record was impossible. Chicagoans will finally have a chance to see the twisting melodies and propulsive rhythms of the expansive double album brought to life at Constellation, where Kircher is hosting what amounts to a belated release show, performing with a full band that includes Nick Mazzarella, Greg Ward and Matt Ulery.
