Tennis and Ski Lodge. Sounds like an upper class vacation. Not too far off, actually. Husband-and-wife vintage-pop duo Tennis could easily be described as "Polaroid pop." The Denver outfit’s songs recall the sounds of ’60s girl groups and sunny, vintage rock, marrying Alaina Moore’s vivid vocals to warm organs and guitars. Its sophomore album, Young and Old, was a pleasure, and a third LP is due soon, on the heels of recent EP, Small Sound, which played like vintage Cardigans gone Motown.
