If you have fond memories of mash-ups that paired Wilco and Kanye West, Common and Flying Lotus and a long list of other unlikely musical bedfellows, you have Chicago production duo Aaron Brink and Steve Reidell to thank. Back the late aughts, the duo's independently produced remixes made their way onto iPods all around the world, inspired by mash-up acts like Girl Talk and Them Jeans. The twosome's output has migrated to Soundcloud, where you'll find Drake rapping over the Stranger Things theme and a Cardi B remix. Expect to hear a few new creations at the Hood Internet's NYE bash, along with sets from rapper ShowYouSuck and DJ Jill Hopkins.
