Laura Burhenn is best known as a touring member of the Postal Service, but she has been releasing records as The Mynabirds since 2010. Her latest record, Lovers Know, is the culmination of a yearlong period of travel in the U.S., Europe and South Africa. it's synth-heavy pop production is a departure from the soulful strains of her debut, but Burhenn's dulcet voice ably inhabits the fresh sonic palette.
