Tierra Whack + Valee

On her debut album, Whack Factory, singer, rapper and songwriter Tierra Whack blows through 15 songs in just 15 minutes, finding creative freedom in self-imposed brevity. Harnessing an array of vocal deliveries and genre trappings, Whack's minute-long compositions are fully-realized ideas presented in a bite-sized format. In concert, Whack has a tendency to stretch out her creations, allowing audiences more time to bask in her weird and wonderful sonic world. During Red Bull Music Festival Chicago, Whack headlines an evening at the Concord Music Hall, with support from local rapper Valee.
